Can 3 bottom be converted to 2 bottom?

Can this Massey Harris 3 bottom plow be converted to 2 bottom plow? Would it be a simple matter of removing the 3rd plow?

People do it all the time. Just remove the rear mouldboard, etc., and it works the same.

Depending on the soil, the L3130 may struggle just a bit to pull a two bottom. Can't tell the share size from the small picture but it looks to be 16". That would be more difficult to pull than a 14" or 12" of course. Fill the FEL with plenty of weight and run in 4WD.

Thanks, he has come down on the price a bit on craigslist, I know I can't pull 3, doubt 2 (at least 16 as you say) but was thinking if it can be taken down to 2 or even 1, perhaps it would work for me...
