can any one send me a wiring diagram for the 4310

They make the controler difficult to access on purpes as they almost never go bad . its usualy a wiring problem or bad connetor .

What happend? should be a code flashing on the rh fender switch panal near the fwd switch and pto switch. will be a series of long and short flashes . that should help to point in the right area. dont start screwing around to much or you can just make things worse. make sure the seat switch is working , if its a hydro check the forward/revesre pedals to be sure they are returning all the way to the top, Ive seen a stick knock the conector off the throttle sensor , (near the injection pump) good luck.

I could answer your questions if the manual covered my tractor but changes were made to the 4310 after the manual I bought with the tractor was printed, so the wiring doesn't match what's in the manual

Ok, is there no codes at the rh fender indicator light? on the early 4000 tens the lite was actuly inside the fuse box area just laying there atched to a couple wires. forget about the book for now, just trying to help you get moving again

there is one code that pertains to a part that was deleted from the 4310 and my tractor according the the manual I have so it must have a different meaning on my 4310

and the wire colors are different

Flywheel speed sensor your saying ? I think they elemenated those. controler reads off the tach signal from the alternator on those I think. I guess with out the right book it will be tough. good luck.

the manual I bought to work to work on my tractor doesn't cover my tractor

I think jd owes me a manual that covers my tractor

I paid for it in good faith
