The 300 gallon tank was sold to someone else. It was an overhead tank, and after giving it more thought, I think I would rather go with an on ground type with pump. I have learned that many of the delivery compaines will not deliver unless the tank meets certain specs, like vented, etc.
One of my tractors holds about 80 gallons, it is an International 1086. I estimate we will use every bit of the 300 gallons this summer. Price of hay is going up. I already have a 30 gallon tank that I haul and pick up fuel with. I am actually looking at a 500 gallon tank now. Getting more concerned about diesel fuel prices. Try to buy when the cost is on down swing if that ever happens. Off road diesel around here is about $4.30 a gallon right now.
