Can I get a Free ROPS for my 186D?

A dealer told me once that Yanmar provides ROPS free under certain conditions (maybe I would have to pay shipping) Is that possible? I know I really should get one, but never have. Mine is a US model, which did not come with a ROPS (it must have been optional) Maybe they'd like to see one on it bad enough to split the cost... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I doubt they'd give you a free one. They don't have any available for many of the models.

I'm sure there is one that was made for your tractor my YM187 came with one and it's a factory built Yanmar ROPS and my tractor is the big brother of your's.

Thanks, I squinted! I didn't realize the ROPS was <font color="red"> RED </font> . (guess I assumed black) I did price one a while back; seemed like it was around $600.00 - but if its <font color="red">RED </font> it might be worth that...

I bought one for a YM226 and put it on a YM1820. It was a simple prodject. It came with a seat belt.

Fredricks , out of Hartsell AL got it for me. I,m sure Len could get one if they are still available. I sold the tractor it was on, so I can't give any measurements,sorry.
