ford 3500 / dultz allis/ IH 434
I have been looking for a good older 2 bottom plow for a while at auctions. I have found a few but the good ones have sold for more then i want to spend. I know somwone that knows somone that has a nice Ih 3 bottom plow that they want to get ride of. i have not seen but a cell phone picture of it, but my friend ( who knows nothing about plows or tractors) said its atleast 20+ years old as been kept inside a barn, looks nice and has a IH decal on it.

Now this plow is a little more then what i need but if the price is right and I think it will be can my tractor handle it? I have a IH 434 about 40+ hp with r1 tires a little better then 50% tread. tires are not loaded. ground as flat as can be. soil is 5-7 in topsoil over clay.

Thanks for any help

I think that if the price is good, you could get it and if it it too much for your tractor, remove one of the Plows. If my memory serves me, each plow just bolts on but a 40 HP tractor should handle a 3 bottom plow in most soil conditions.
