I found a 1000# lead block and it fit perfect, plus left room for tools.

Just upgraded to a 2018 2025R with a ballast box. My 2004 2210 went to my son. I added the 9” extension which I am going to use as a tool box to store chains etc. or fill with removable weight if needed.

I am going to fill the original box with concrete. Can I just dump the bags in the box, add water and swirl it around a bit? Or, do I need to mix with water prior to dumping it?

Does it matter which bags of concrete I buy?
Fill it with sand, not concrete, so you can empty it to move it or sell it.

I’ve always fluid filled all 4 of my tires with water & 25% Antifreeze for extra weight.
No weight box to hook / unhook.
That’s great until you’re in the woods trying to plug a tire that’s full of water and the tire’s wet and you’re wet and you’re standing in mud.

True but chance I gotta take because dry tires won’t get enough traction on my hills or steep banks here

I have a bunch of bricks leftover from my house build. I plan to stack those in the box and fill the voids with sand. I bolted ammo boxes on the sides to hold chains, pins, tools and the such. Also put two sections on pvc pipe in for tools. Should be more than enough for my little B2601.
