Can I pull with my tractor

On a borrowed 28 HP 4wd kubota I have popped the rear end up in the air and popped the front end up in the air trying to pull the same rock. I was hooked to chain in the wrong places, too high, and was generally ignorant of the risk. It was a gear tractor and I was easing off the clutch so I realized what was happening and disengaged the clutch before flippage. Keep your eyes open and use your equipment.

You can flip any tractor. Pick a size suitable for the job.

I use a logging winch. The nature of it includes high pulls and skidding with a moderately high attachment.

Be careful, be aware of what can happen and expect it to.

Even the big ag tractor I used to use all the time would pop a wheeling pulling big stuff or lift the rear end up when lifting heavy stuff.

I am a big fan of pulling from the drawbar, thats why its there. It is the best safest way to pull anything with your tractor.

That said, the 3pt hitch is also made for pulling implements. There is merit to a 3pt skidder, the danger is in using it. If you pull to much to high you are going to wheelie if you dont go over on your head, no question about it, it will happen. If you pull a load the tractor can handle at a height it can control, at a reasonable speed, then you are fine.

Your seat time on the terrain that you are skidding on will tell you what those parameters are. No one can tell you exactly how to do it.

Knowing when to quit is one of the differences between a equipment driver and a operator.
