Funny, that's the same company I called about my Cummins , and they told me their coolant didn't meet specs even though it states all makes and models. Mine calls for (HOAT) Zerex G-05 was the only coolant I could find at the time that met the specs
It is indeed funny. I used the very same Peak Final Charge product, I use now, in my 2006 Cummins ISX that I took to about 938,000 miles with nary an issue, and the Cummins shop near me I used had no issues with the product. Their Final Charge ELC is not the same product as the consumer side of Peak. This is the commercial product they offer and it is more than adequate across many platforms. From my heavy diesels on down to my small gassers. One coolant for everything.

Well, since peak told me their product didn't meat specs. for HOAT compatibility , I'm going to follow their recommendations and stick with a HOAT coolant for my Cummins

Kubota M7040, Kubota MX5100, Deere 790 TLB, Farmall Super C
I remember reading at the Deere site that a diesel engine with a wet cylinder requires a special antifreeze. Probably to prevent cavitation under certain instances. I flush and just use Deere A/F for most things. Some Kubotas get off the shelf extended A/F from Walmart and the Toyota truck gets Toyota A/F.
I have read that good antifreeze, flush and changed as required is equal in importance to good oil.
You would be right that wet sleeve engines need protection from liner cavitation. The old way was thru SCA's in coolants. ELC eliminated all that nonsense. All of my diesels are wet sleeved, even the little 2.8L diesel that Jeep put in my 2006 Liberty. I use the same coolant that all the major heavy diesel OEM's are factory filling with and have been for some time.... the Red ELC. I prefer the nitrite free formula, as that is what my Detroit engine OEM recommends. I use the same Final Charge ELC (Peak Commercial product) that I use in my heavy truck diesels and Jeep in my Cadillac and my gasser pickup also. Nice having a coolant that meets all my needs and not having to stock different kinds. My JD 825i Gator and NH compact have never complained either.
