6' disc should be fine... My 1952 ford 8n can pull a ford 5.5' dual ganged disc.. might have to use breaks, or 4wd to steer though. Soil conditions will also dictate how much bit you can use on the angled rear gang.
Notched discs cut through vegitation better..
