Are you sure the collar goes forward and not the other way. Hold the pto shaft up and look into the end while you slide the collar. watch for the detent to retract to know which way it works. Sometimes they are juwst tight for a while and a wire brush or a little sand paper folled by some spray grease will help. Good luck.

MADE in CHINA POS collar. Took it apart and removed SEVERAL metal chips.

Works fine now.

I know what you mean. The gear box shaft on my Chinese RFM were about .006 too large for the coupling. I had to file the splines down just to slip it on!
