Can snow be far away???

Monday night and Tuesday morning left us with eight inches of very wet, heavy snow. The good news is our new metal roof shed the snow all night long with muffled WHUMPS that made the whole house shake. The bad news is the trees still had most of the leaves, and the weight of the snow caused considerable damage in the forest. Firewood?

This morning we're down to three inches and a LOT of mud! The valleys are pretty much thawed out completely.

Sorry Doc,
I have been away for a while, I am not sure what happened with that link. We got up to 12" in the North Central counties last Monday with most of those areas having no electric all week. Some folks in Upshur and Preston are still without over a week later.

Hey.. it's November & 70 degrees out in Maryland.. though we've had some good frost in the mornings.

I've been waiting the last couple weeks for it to dry up some.. I have more ear-corn to harvest.. and 2 rows of potatoes left to dig up.
