Kent, That setup on that 1430 is the same as my 1445 which is an older model. I believe that the hook up in the center is for a case drain on some of the larger hydraulic motors, like on my wheel motors, and flail mower. There is an aux circuit on my 1445 for the blade angle . That is the circuit that I use for my limb snipper.

Right on, My pt1430 with quick disconnects has five hoses out there. The extra one (that I've never used) go's right back to the tank.

FYI: I talked with Terry at PT and he indicated to me that this vintage 1430 also used the cable connection for the treadle as versus an hydraulic linkage on the newer models.

?? regarding your cropped closeup pic -- anyone want to hazard a guess what the hydraulic manifold is for that's located down low on the front of the dash/bulkhead, between the loader arm?

It has 4 (at least) hydraulic hoses on each side with some type of hose going into the center, it appears. Would appear to be splitting the circuits for the wheel motors...
I don't know. Look at the wheel motors. They have two large hoses going out the tops and the small hoses coming out the side appear to go to that manifold block. Wheel motor drains, perhaps? Maybe something to do with the brake tender?

That small hose coming out of the wheel motors is a case drain hose

Checked this machine out today, starts and runs fine. Everything I checked worked, trammed nice. It appears to have sat outside for some time. Has the hydraulics for the quick attach, that it doesn't have.
My problem, it is too big. That tiller is a real hunk of iron & the 5' bucket is just too much for my needs.
I think it is a good buy at the number it is at. Just thought I would pass this on in case someone on here is bidding, but hasn't seen it.
