And that is why I ask a lot of questions. I am actually amazed how many men I come across that work with heavy equipment, trucks, steel, and do a pretty good job, but don't understand any of the underlying principles.

I just performed some delicate surgery on the tow-haul switch wiring that had broken on my Sierra. A poor design for the wire flexing internally within the steering column, but not the fault of the Engine light being on as a result of a bad glow plug, as I had assumed.

Well, mission accomplished! I misunderstood, the trailer was over a hundred inches wide, and we needed all of that on account of the angular design of the chipper. I drove about half the brutal 3500 KMS. Not a single glitch. Just some horrible MN highways with some kind of a joint in the pavement every fifty feet or so it seemed.
