Can you guess what this is?

It's part of your central plumbing system for adult beverages. From any seat in your house you can press a button and enjoy. Button #1 engages the first tube which is light beer, button #2 opens tube 2 for dark beer. Button #3 activates the third tube for a nice dry red wine. Let us know when you finish the installation and we'll all be over for a test /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's a highly specific "shot-from-the-hip":

High Pressure Chromatography/Filtering Columns, that you used as a Swimming Pool Filter.

Well, when I worked in a paper mill we had a similar setup to take any bits of debris out of the pulp slurry but they were more conical, piped differently, and I don't think you're making paper. I haven't snuck a look at anyone else's response yet, but I'd say since you said you were using it, that you are filtering water with it. Or cooling a heck of a lot of beer before you pitch the yeast, or hopping it by infusion. Can I have a glass when it's ready?

Hmm - references to "water", adult beverages and filtering - some sort of sewage treatment unit.

Well from the posts and the general look I would say that we could go and sell it to people that think they need water purification units, /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What is inside of the cylinders, does it have screes or filter elements? With the valving you could run them in series or Parallel. Looks like you could jam a lot of pressure into it as well. Now if you want to make wine we should talk.
