Can you run a 40 hp Rated gearbox on a 55 hp Tractor?

Certainly ,OEM's underrate them to cover themselves . We have run 540 PTO implements at a 1000 with no ill effects . As soundguy stated use a little sense .

A 55 y.o. man and a 40 y.o. woman can get along pretty well. Its good for the tractor, too.
