Bird seems to be off-line, but FYI, it's 'Front End Loader'.

I think I'm making progress but:

I now have a few other concerns regarding T&T.

1. I can't find a cylinder for the side that has the 15 degree "bend" on the ends. Oops Pic #3

2. I have added Pat's easy change which extends the attachment out another 3 1/2 inches further--- should I add this to choose the max & min of the hyd. top link?. Pic #2

3. I have checked my present adjustable side link and it goes from 14 inches to 18 inches. The bottom as you know has a yolk that is about 3 1/2 inches long, if this is shorter will there be a binding at some point?
I haven't found a cylinder with a "long" clevis end. Oops Pic #1

Sounds like about the same kind of problems we all had. I used some erroneous terminology and even had a typo in the title, but if you go to the Hydraulic Tip \'N Tilt thread, you'll find a great deal more than you want to read when an ignorant Bird was trying to do his top 'n tilt a long time ago.:D I got a lot of help from others, especially LarryT who had his done by his dealer, and MChalkley who knows a lot more about the hydraulics than I'll ever know, as well as several other members of Tractorbynet. If you go to the 107th post in that saga (I mean thread) you'll find a list of the material I used. Unfortunately, the photos were lost in some of the upgrades to Tractorbynet.

I bent the top tab over to 15 degrees. Then welded a piece of metal to short side. Drilled a new hole. Will try to get a picture later today.

You should not need to cut top link like Bird and I did. Should make it easier to route hyd. lines with the extra length.

3. I have checked my present adjustable side link and it goes from 14 inches to 18 inches. The bottom as you know has a yolk that is about 3 1/2 inches long, if this is shorter will there be a binding at some point?

I have not seen a longer Cat 1 side link. Moving the adjustable link to left side helps with getting max adjustments.

Thanks again Bird and Ron,
I really appreciate all the time spent offering the great help you have provided.
I'm still reading and trying to remember.

Like the guy said," There are THREE things I can't remember.... names & faces..."

Then there was the other one that said; " There are three things I can't remember........... well I guess there's FOUR.":D

I'll probably be back with more questions, hope I don't become a worry wart.

Many thanks again.
