Canada Kubota Equine Discount

I have been haggling with dealers for about a month. Tractor with options and lots of attachments. Ball park range of $35,000. Talking with 3 John Deere and 2 Kubota dealers in my local area. Here in Canada the economy is not so bad so dealers are not hurting that bad. After weeks of haggling I was done to their final price, lowest they can go offer. I raised the Equine Discount issue. Kubota dropped another $800. John Deere $1,200. I'll be confirming offers and picking the winner next week.

I qualify for the Equine Discount Program via John Deere......I have a quote for a JD 4520 with 400CX FEL and other options.....The discount is 18% and the 48 Month 0% financing is available.... Attachments are discounted by 10% per the quote....

Discount programs can not be layered.......I have not responded to the quote or asked my other JD dealer for a quote yet.....So I have not begun the "Dance of the Cranes" , i.e. haggling! And I may not bother for the nominal dollars to be saved.......

You really do have to be in the horse business....I am and what a fun way to lose your butt....Mostly cash going out

The Equine Progam covers all John Deere product lines, i.e the published discounts range from 15% to 23%. It is published and available in print at a John Deere Dealer.....

I am told you can do just as well, if not better, with other discount programs and shopping around........

To me time is money and the Equine Program makes sense if you are busy all the time.....

I certainly can appreciate all you do on the equine side of things. I know little about horses other than the barns I have built, arenas I have made, the drinking facilities I have installed for horse owners. They are incredible creatures, but for folks other than me. I really appreciate all you do for these incredible beasts. Keep it up!
