TonyC,
I'll repeat what has been said on Public Radios People's Pharmacy.
The hosts and their guests opinion on this is that drugs in
Canada are likely safer then in the US. The drugs are the same
but in Canada there are less people involved in moving the
drugs from the manufactuer to the consumer. Their
two cents is that the amount/type of drug can be mixed up
the more it is handled. The drugs are handled more in the US
than in Canada.
I have no idea if this is true or not. Don't have a clue. Take
it for what it is worth. I don't think I would buy from some
countries but I think I would buy from Canada.
I was talking with a friend of mine who owns a backery. We
got to talking about health care and such. The costs have
risen to a point that she is having to cut/move the health
benefits since she can't afford the bill anymore. She made
a brilliant point about Free Trade. If its Free Trade to send our
jobs overseas why is it not Free Trade to buy our drugs
overseas if we so desire..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
