Canopy for LS4041

Anyone have any info on options for a canopy for R4041? I've looked at the LS website, which doesn't allude to there being a factory canopy. I have fabricated an iron/steel one in the past for my ford which I still have, however not sure I want to use it again. Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thanks!

Just do a search for ( tractor canopies for sale ) and you will find about all that there is to be found. I personally like the fiberglass units, but that's just me.

Get in touch with the folks at Covermytractor.com They have a picture of what looks like a NH Boomer 40/50 with a canopy on it, but it doesn't come up in the search. Their fiberglass canopy looks to run around $500. I've been thinking about adding a shade for a while, so I sent them a note, and they immediately replied they could make one, and just to give them a call. R,

Thanks all! I did a website search and not much came up...will check the website listed above. I noticed that in LS tractor thread "Trailering my 4041" (or something to that effect) one of the other users had a canopy on his. I will try to contact him as well, thanks again!

I'm not a fan of this type of material, but the price is right.

I have one of these fiberglass canopies, 5 years old and zero problems.

Not sure where you are looking, :confused3: but these are all right here along with many others.

I have a diamond plate one that I got from my dealer when I bought my tractor. After having a small cab tractor and others with canopies, They spoil you. I need to get pics of mine now that I installed lights on it. You can see it in my profile pic.

I presume if bought new from New Holland dealer (as TSO recommended) the T1530 or Boomer 40 would be a comparable fit to the LS R4041 in terms of ROPS size and canopy fitment?

I also got a diamond plate aluminum one from the dealer when I bought my tractor for around $300. Not sure where he ordered it from, but it is similar to this:

Any decent LS dealer ought to be able to help you find one though, even if they are not local.

Yes, they LS and Boomer use a different loader, but everything else, including the ROPS appears identical, and other things like the tool box bracket that mounts to the base of the ROPS works on either.

Someday I intend to build one for my LS. The fiberglass one on my CC has a gutter all the way around it with two tiny drain holes at the back corners of that gutter. The gutter drives me nuts when it rains. The holes come nowhere near to being able to drain the gutter and when it goes even slightly downhill, every bump I hit puts me under a waterfall as the water splashes out. I will build a lid with no gutters. Better a drip than a flood.

It's made here in Texas and was about $300. The same company also makes a diamond plate aluminum canopy for the same price.

Yeah, I got mine from RCO also. I got the aluminum Diamond Plate.. Works great! Reflects the heat, and shade is good on those hot days.. I think it was around $300.00..
