I have no idea, my comment was generic. That type of carelessness isn’t sensitive to paint color.

I have seen aftermarket skid plate guards over the years for MF GC tractors. Perhaps brotek made it? I'd have to do some digging. The problem was 2 fold on them. 1) they interfere with mower deck hydraulic lifts and 2) they reduce airflow over the rear end where the fan that inevitably is in a damage risky spot also can't pull as much air over the rear housing.

Its one of the reasons why I went MF then John Deer-so I wouldn't have to buy parts John Deer owners around here are always at the dealer buying something-thats why the parts department is so huge.

Coincidentaly the smallest parts department at any tractor dealership I saw was Kubota. To me its a sign, the smaller the parts department the better the product(and yes the sales department is similiar in size)
