Can't get off of my backhoe! (L4200 w/ Woods 9000)

I sometimes have the same problem with my Kubota B7100 and its woods 750 backhoe. I keep a couple of short sections of 4x4 post handy. I get the tractor moved to just before the front of the subframs hits the underside of the tractor. I then put the 4x4's just in front of the back tires of the tractor. I drive up and over them and that lifts the rear of the tractor just enough to clear the subframe.

Up-n-over ramps are my plan too. So, I guess I'm not the only one.

Well if I were to spend a fourty hour week with this task, I'm sure I'd have a technic down.

Seems I just keep playing with it each time and get a little better each time.

With that said, I always say to myself, oh, that's how you do it.:thumbsup::confused2:

I never posted the solution to this issue. Turns out that the rear backhoe mount uses the 3pt lower arm pins as mounting points, so the BH mount has to be removed to hook up the 3pt hitch stuff. SO - the solution is to disconnect the 'hoe pins and hoses, drive away a few feet, then crawl behind the tractor and between the subframe rails and remove the rear mount. Then I can drive off of the subframe and install the 3pt arms. Installation is the reverse - pull off all of the 3pt stuff, then back up over the subframe, climb back there and attach the mount, then back the rest of the way up and complete the installation. It's a greasy job that requires laying on the floot, but really not all that bad - about 1/2 hour to swap over from BH to 3pt or vice-versa.
