Can\'t help it.... Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I just can't pass up the chance to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. I've had so many good things happen to me this year that I won't even try to list them all, but by far the best has been my marriage to a wonderful woman.

I guess I also have to be very thankful that I didn't meet with the huge catastrophe so many in the paths of Katrina and Rita experienced. For them, this Thanksgiving is going to be hard. And not to be political in any way, but it's also going to be hard for all those in the military in Iraq and throughout the world on land and sea. May they all be blessed and return home safely.

I agree with everything you said, Jim, except I didn't get married this year; just thankful I've still got the one I married 40 years ago. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I know how you feel about having a very good year. Like Bird I didn't get married this year, but I'm still holding a tried and true. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanksgiving we went to OKC and enjoyed the company of the daughter and grandkids. Few things will make you feel warmer and more proud than grandkids.

The fourteen year old was out in the field besides the house chasing little white balls with a nine iron when we pulled up. It's been thirty years or so since I did that.

We had a ball. One club, two kids, bucket of balls.

So now I'll be keeping my eyes open for a set of clubs that'll fit the style of a fifty something whacker. Just so I can play a round or two with him when I go up there.

It's been a great year for us. I hope it's been at least that for all my TBN friends.
