Can't remove loader

Harbor freight has good deals on porta-power type equipment now and then.. guess you could make a pipe bender out of it when not using it as a mobile press...

Here is a couple pics of where the loader post is seized in the receiver on the subframe. Tried a 10T jack between the subframe and the loader arm. Nothing budged. I needed to get the loader off so I could do some repairs on the tractor. By disassembling the loader arm I was able to remove the loader and subframe and complete the repairs. Not urgent to get it apart now but I would like it to work properly in time.

That was my next guess as well. Heat and the hammer again.

I have not been very aggressive with heat. It's a big area to try to heat evenly.

I'm no Kubota expert by any means,
but my first thought is this:
does the mast lock into the reciever during
installation? I thought we had a similar
tractor in a few months ago, and I think
I remember removing some threaded rods from
the front leg of the loader, near the front frame
of the tractor,, which allowed that leg to
drop down using the hydraulics. that brings
the mast forward, and then up and out (once
the pins were removed) of the pocket.
Is your loader simlar?
again, just trying to help, and claiming no
bota expertise here

:D

I guess I was not really thinking about heating evenly. I was thinking that the heat plus the burning off of the petroleum products might cause the rust to flake off, break up and pop out of there. Good swing of the hammer to knock it loose. Not saying I am right, but it seems like I ran into some similar issues when I worked on the farm. Can it really hurt anything?

Tig,

I may be looking at the pics wrong, but is the locking pin still in the support for the upright? This pin keeps the rear of the loader from lifting when you pick something up in your bucket. I circled it in your pictures.

I put the pin back in while I was using the loader. That's when the picture was taken. I referenced the loader operators guide when I tried to remove the loader. The other side comes apart fine. I am leaving the pin loose while I use the loader just to give it an chance to wiggle a bit. So far nothing.

Cant you fasten the loader to something like a tree, and use the hydraulics to wiggle it around a bit, any movement will help to break the rust. You might even be able to lift the loader off using the hydraulics.
