Canvas bags for chains (Harbor Freight $10.99)

Do you happen to have the dimensions on the bags? I might have use for them in another way...

- Size is 15L x 7W x8H inches
- 24 pockets of varying sizes
- 24oz cotton duck
- Tools pictured are NOT included.

Strange that HF forgot to put the size on their website. Also they don't say that Safety glasses are required. This bag is made in India.

We had very similar bags to carry tie-down chains(6) for the aircraft aboard the USS Hancock many years ago. Those bags could get heavy, but we were young. I'm going to have to look at those the next time I'm by Harbor Freight.

Great idea, Sodo! I'm keeping my chains in a 40mm ammo box, which works okay until I need to grab one or two chains and go. This would really help. Is the canvas treated with anything? I'm thinking maybe a little bit of canvas tent waterproofing treatment would help protect them from wet chains if you get caught working in the rain.

I use the Cloth Grocery. bags Maybe not as strong as canvas but alot cheaper. Most of the time they are free.
