About one year ago, daughter had a deer hit the newer car, damaged the hood and grill... nothing else. She had her license for a total of two days when this happened. Insurance deductable was $500.00. Didn't want to fill a claim. One year latter with the help of the mechanic next door at the golf course, one used hood and grill and some paint... Total of $350.00 and the car looks like new.

Pretty scary. Glad your daughter is OK.

Funny, I have the same story. Did I post it here on TBN?

I hit a herd, yes, four, all at the same time with my S-10. I did all the work myslef to get it back on the road. It took over a year.

Last night coming home, my fan blower, mysteriously started to work again! So the only thing "wrong" now is the huge dents in the passenger door and the tail bed.

I had to find a grill on the internet, 20 dollar part, 100 dollar shipping.
