another option is to drill the center to release pressure too.

weld a nut on.. etc.. etc..

Well, I honestly haven't had a chance to work on it. Work has been trying to kill me this week. I located an auto parts store that has the CRC freeze off, but I can't get there until this weekend. I also need to get a bigger hollow ground screwdriver, which I also can't get until this weekend. Finishing this up is #1 on my weekend list of things to do. It's supposed to be nice here Saturday and Sunday.

Since both heat and freeze spray have been mentioned, I want to warn you to NOT use both at the same time. If you were to heat the casting significantly then use the freeze spray, it could cause the casting to crack due to thermal shock.

Got the seat out using the freeze spray. I still had to give it a love tap to break it free. The pictures wouldn't show up, but the hole in the end of the seat was oblong instead of round. I cleaned everything and put it all back together. The moment of truth seeing if MF 150 will start and if I can adjust the carb properly will have to wait a bit. I want to replace the exhaust elbow and I can get to the bolts easier without the carb on. The elbow is todays project so stay tuned.
