I finally got some pictures I can post after I mess with them. What a PITA.

I wanted an easy way to carry brush and hay bales. The attachment shown is hooked up by running the forks into "U" brackets on the bottom. Two pieces of 2" sq tube provide side to side support below the round tubing. Both sq tubes rest on the forks. Once the carrier is on the forks I use a strap tiedown to secure it to the backstop. It only takes a few minutes to install or remove.

I've hauled 25 bales at a time and huge amounts of brush. The heavier limbs are placed nearest the tractor over the forks with the lighter stuff up front.

The carrier provides an 8'x8' platform. After using it I would go with a 6'x6' size. That would improve visibility when loaded and make it easier to clear the brush when dumping. Before anyone says great job, I had this built at a shop that does welding and bending. so they deserve the credit.

Not hard to see for me. It looks great, but does look mighty big for that size tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Exactly what I was thinking. This creation, though nifty looking, sure looks tempting to overload with excess weight that'll cause back end to pop up. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It would be easy to overload if you didn't keep the FEL limits in mind and the effect of the 8' platform hanging out in front. The 3 pt hitch carriers aren't big enough to do what I want so I use this to move the stuff.

It gets a workout when I trim the trees around the pastures and cut hay. Because of the size I can easily carry more than I can see around. That's why if I did it again I'd go narrower. Filled with trimmings it doesn't seem to tax the FEL. Loading it up with hay lets you know you've got a load. It also works to move loose hay.

looks to me like a great way to pick up brush and move it...
