Carrying tools on tractor

Don't you ever have to lift the implement when the cart is attached? Am I missing something here /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

John, That's the reason I haven't mounted any PVC holders yet. It seems like the tools sticking up could get in the way if you weren't paying attention, but when I read the idea a year or so ago... it struck me as a good one.
I'm also trying to decide how I want to carry chains. I've seen some nice chain boxes, but to use the same holes that are already in my FEL frame, the box would be hanging too far down, lowering ground clearance. Of course I could always drill new ones or weld it on so it's higher up.

A lot has to do with where you take your tractor and the tools you will need when you get there. With a folding ROPS in the folded position you could make a "hang on" tool box with some rubber bumpers on it that would come off easily and not mess very much up if it doesn't live up to expectations...

I put a box 48"lx12"wx6"h and bolted it on top of my loader bucket on the back of the sloped top on a NH 17LA. I can remove it for heavy loader use or leave it on for normal use. I cut 2 notches 1"x2" on the top of each end to hold shovels and rakes. The box holds a chain saw, gas and oil and chain. It only slightly interferes with visability. Try it, youll like it Frank
