Carver web site down?

I found out yesterday that they were OOB. A shame. Last year bought a new BX2350 from them, and was impressed with the whole operation. When I broke the plastic fan that cools the transmission (a common problem with this model I found out) they fixed it for me pronto. Had a hint of problems when I got a quote on a bush hog last summer, told them I wanted it, and never heard back from them...something was not right. So I sort of expected this, but still think it's too bad.

I bought a BX24BLT with a 60 inch belly mower and canopy from carver 2 years ago. I live in NY and gave both local dealers a chance to at least come close to his price delivered. How close do you think they came?? how about 4500 over his price!!! As far a buying local, i'm all for it, but i absolutly refuse to pay the "NY surcharge" as i call it- try buying anything big around here, including cars, and they just try to beat you up on the price. Steve was a pleasure to deal with and the whole transaction and delivery went without a hitch- in fact when the truck arrived, the driver had a kubota zero turn mower onboard also, going to conneticut. Steve called me to see if the delivery went ok and was very responsive to any questions i had. My first kubota, a bx1500, i bought local, payed about 2 grand more than i should of and the guy had the nerve to charge me 100 bucks to deliver it to my house....3 miles away!!! anyway, carver will be missed....
