That’s because it’s TOP SECRET...
Is there a big plug in front of the pump.??
If yes, remove the plug and use a flashlight it look for the timing lines..
if u bolt the pump back up and rotate the engine BY HAND until the VERY TINY timing lines are visible..
Seeing you have the side cover off, rotate the engine until #1 JUST STARTS TO RISE & stop.. now look for the timing line..
If u can’t find them, lemme know..

Found them and have them set lined up together. Did not have the cover off at that time so I cannot verify that #1 was starting rise. But i have dis-assembled yet so I can do it again. #2 spring is not broken. Must be the camera angle.
Still cant seem to see what the shut off lever should be controlling?

Maybe watch this short video. It will help you understand what thepumpguysc is explaining to you.

That helped tremendously!
Control rod is for sure stuck.
1st and second from the front injector plungers are stuck in the up position.
I have the pump off. The back partially separated. I cannot move the control rod. (Did not try very hard.)
Logic would say its the one that’s stuck one’s causing the problem. Still working on how or why.
Will dig back in after lunch and keep you guys posted.

You might want to consider sending the pump to thepumpguysc and pay him just rebuilt it for you. That way you know it will be right and it will not get damaged beyond repair. Injection pumps can be temperamental especially if you have never been through one.
