Case 310G dozer update

I thought it had the Harley Davidson trim package and that would make it an F150, no? More curious than anything..

I believe that is an F150 with King Ranch package. And I would bet that if the Indiana DOT looked at that combination, there would be a pretty stiff fine handed out.

Hi Campers,

I have a case 310 dozer with mechanical track adjusters....annnnnnnnnnnnd....I threw a track ( oh boy) . Here is my question. On the adjuster there is a nut, which I backed off, is there anything else I need to do before pushing the wheel back with my bucket loader?

thanks in advance

Unbelieveable! Use a come-a-long.

Hello,

I have a 310 Case track loader I bought last year to restore, I'm getting all the mechanical fixed first. On mine their are 2 nuts 1 locks the other in place.
I never had a track come off but have adjusted the slack out. I would say you have it backed off enough to to get your track on. There are no other bolts, nuts ect
to my knowledge you have to loosen, the hard part is getting the track on, after you get it on, adjust it till all the slack is out. I attached some pics I took this evenong
after seeing your post, hope this helps. DSC03177.JPGDSC03183.JPGDSC03178.JPGDSC03182.JPGDSC03176.JPGDSC03175.JPGDSC03183.JPGDSC03178.JPGDSC03186.JPG

Duke,

Thanks for your help! This is my first dozer, so I was pretty much shooting in the dark. The track is back on and it wasn't as hard as i would have thought. It took a torch to free the nuts and a BIG bar, but it is done and i learned alot. Thanks again for your help.
