Case 530 year ID help...

Hi, I recently purchased a 530 w/model 31 hoe and loader. It is not a CK as far as I can tell. It has the COM transmission and is missing the ID plate (of course!). The fellow I bought it from was guessing that it was around a '72 but the little info that I could find seems to say that they weren't in production in '72. Is this correct? The engine has been replaced with a 148 from a bulldozer according to the previous owner also. He took of the power steering assembly but gave it to me in a box. All it is missing (he said) is the cylinder. Herein may be a clue as it should have only one PS cylinder as opposed to two like on others that I have seen. I would appreciate any help, info, ideas where to look etc., as I am new to this hobby/obsession. Thanks, Josh

They were built by my books from 1962 to 1966. They came with a 159 engine for power.
