Fiat owns 22 percent of New Holland, New Holland is the company name and they paid a few billion for Case. The problem is no one know's how this will affect the dealers. I have talked with the case dealers and the NH dealers and they both say they have to wait a couple years to see how things play out. Rumor is that they are going to merge the lines and do to the rest of their fleet like they did to the Boomer.

The Case units are the same as the NH Boomers like you said with the exception that supersteer is not an option with Case. My NH dealer explained that Case dealers won't be allowed to sell the new compacts unless a NH dealer is not within 100 miles (or some such distance)

the 100 miles is not true we have a new holland dealer and a case dealer selling the same units and they are 11 miles apart gary

I wonder if it's case of not being in the same town, or some other distance. I know of a Case dealer with lots of the new DX models on the lot and he's about 25 miles from a New Holland dealer in another little town. I guess next time I'm at the dealership where I bought my Kubota, I'll have to try to remember and ask since they're also a Case International dealer and are less than 100 yards from a New Holland dealer, and I haven't seen any of the DX models on their lot.
