Case/Farmall line

They sure are running a lot of commercials for the new Farmall line of tractors on the radio down here. The series ranges from 31hp to 100 something hp.

Looks like these are made by Case/IH

You've got it right. International Harvester owned Farmall, and now Case IH owns Farmall since the merger.

The new ones do look pretty slick:

They are very similar if not the same as the prior JXC and JXU models. Slight change in hp in some models but the specs are nearly identical. Easy to tweak the hp without making any other changes. Some of the pictures at the web site are the same exact tractor in the same surroundings used in the prior JXU and JXC brochures. I think they just did a photoshop change on the decals!

Today after school Im takin my truck down to the local CaseIH dealer Im in the hunt for a tractor and really interested in the Farmall 31 with loader and 60"mower!! so Im goin to test one for the weekend!!

Case IH is really a division of CNH, Case/New Holland. These tractors all have blue NH counterparts.

I thought they were made by Shibuhara(sp?)

I've bought a Case JXU 85, which I think they are calling Farmall in the US. Funny thing with mine is when it turned up, it had shorter mudguards than the ones I'd seen in photos. The ones in photos have rear mudguards that come down to the bottom of the door, but mine only come halfway down. Searching the internet, I've found the occasional T5000 and TLA with these shorter mudguards, while most have the longer ones. I wonder if these shorter mudguards are for a reason, or if they just randomly make the occasional one with shorter ones.... which would be a bit quirky. I'll have to upload some photos.
