Thanks for any info provided. The 255 diesel no longer shuts off with the switch. I have to pull the engine shutoff cable. Previously I could hear the engine stop solenoid click when I turned the key on. That no longer happens. The solenoid has 12 volts on both connectors with the switch on or off. Even when disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it I don't hear the solenoid. Why is there 12 volts with the switch on or off? Does that mean the Control Timer Unit is bad? A bad solenoid wouldn't (?) explain the constant 12 volts. I am at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated.

NOTE: Don't see how to edit. The solenoid apparently is good. If I ground the non supply side, the solenoid clicks. Does that mean the Control Timer Unit is not supplying a ground?

Found the problem was a blown fuse. The second from the left.
