Case IH 275

I have just purchased a Case IH 275 the info I have found said it was manufactured from 1986 to 91. But the local dealer says it was only made for 1 year. The other Question I have is the tractor dose not have power steering. But some of them did, if I can find a power steering unit how much a problen will it be to insall it?

I think the 275 is a branded Mitsubishi.....Find out which Mitsu it is and look for parts from the Mitsu suppliers. You might want to post your question on the Mitsu board. There are some parts suppliers that frequent that forum.

Steve, the parts list does only show it being built in 88 but the books say your years are correct. The power steering was not an attachment or a add-on but took many parts as it was made into the steering gearbox. You might be able to find it in a junk yard but I'd say you might be looking for a while. They were a good tractor as far as the construction for their day but as times change so do tractors!
