Case IH 385

I recently purchased a Case IH 385 from a friend. I believe it’s a 1986, hours unknown with a duAll backhoe and a brush hog loader. It’s a great tractor but has done its fair share of work. At this point is it critical to run Case IH HyTran in it or is any quality tractor oil/fluid ok? Thank you for any wisdom you can share with me.

I am running a 495, next size up and one series newer. It has had Walmart universal tractor fluid in it for at least 10 years with no issue.

I use mostly the name brand products, NO Walmart brand, no Tractor supply brand, or other non name branded products.
Either Shell or Pennzoil or others such as Cen-Pe-Co or Amsoil.
