One of my remotes on my C50 is starting to get stiff. When I pull the lever its stiff and not easy to move. I have taken the linkage apart and it all looks fine, no binding. Any idea what I need to do.

You might have some crud jamming up your spool, such bits of rubber, small metal splinters, etc.

You might have to remove the spool and clean it.

Is your valve operated by a lever or cable?

its operated by lever, straight off the valve. Should I completely disassemble it and clean it or just remove the valve from the tractor and clean that part

You should do OK if you have the manual to help you reassemble the parts. Watch out for any small parts under the cans on the bottom of the valve

If the other spools are function correctly, then leave them alone.

I wonder if there is somewhere to send it to get it rebuilt?

You can do what anyone else can do.

They will take the valve apart , inspect, clean, and if it has o-rings on the spool, they will replace them.

Spools are a precision fit and when they wear, it will be up to you as to how much internal/external leakage you can tolerate.

You can not purchase replacement spools.

If you have the ability, take the valve apart and do it your self.

I guess I'll be taking it apart. I need to order the o ring kit from case

The o-rings in valve spools are primarily there to keep dirt, water, etc out.

If your spools are leaking externally, they are probably leaking internally also.

You really can not fix leaky spools, so why pay someone a service fee to install the o-rings.

You can rebuild hyd stack valves, the o-rings between the stacks.

If the leakage is to much for you, then consider getting a new valve.

You can usually get a better price for a valve that will suit your purpose at third party venders like

Mine are not leaking at either point. It is just that one is getting hard to move
