Pup, you are doing Amsoil sales no favor. When I first came to this board I was actually thinking of using Amsoil. Now considering your and a few other Amsoil supporters actions and attitudes I would never consider using Amsoil.

Sorry, I don't and never have sold any motor oil, but do I tend to believe that your mind was made up way prior to anything I had to say about any motor oil.

Fellows, this is bordering on ridiculous. Attitudes like this is why people leave helpful sites like TBN. Let me see if I can resolve this for all of you. Castrol is on sale at Advanced auto. It is a good oil, in my opinion. Amsoil, though I've never used it, seems to be good also b/c I've never heard anything bad about it. Fellows, its oil. It does not care about us so why should we care about or defend it sooo much? Use whatever oil you like. If someone judges you on the oil you use, how shallow is that person? Now, let all shake oily hands and get back to our tracotrs where we belong. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't use amsoil. I use mobil-1. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I used dino for years like everyone else until I discovered this site.I learned that there are better oils than dino & I could save money at the same time by doing longer drains.It use to cost me approx. $80.00 a year to change oil in 1 vehicle alone doing 3000 mi drains, I have 5. Changing to synethic long drain oil has cut this by 1/2 .I save $40.00 per vehicle & I'am not changing oil all the time. I haven't been angry with anyone here.This type of discussion has been great for me. I've learned alot from folkes like Mike & Skypup. they are not saying use amsoil all they are saying is that is very good oil based on oil test. I would use it if there were a dealer close by so I wouldn't have to pay shipping.If you want to use dino & waste money like I did in the past that's your business,but for people like me that is open to try better products this fourm has been great. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have absolutely nothing against Amsoil. It is the people that promote it. They have effectively eliminated the ability of members on TBN to discuss any other brand of oil.
