I may be getting a cat 0 tractor and wonder how to go about converting it to cat 1?
I'm guessing the quick and dirty way would be to change out the ends of the lower lift arms and toplink with cat 1 connectors via a smoke wrench / welder.
Or the right way, change out the lower arm hitch pins with cat 1 pins, and the same with the top link.. possibly new bracket for the top link to accomodate the larger pin., etc
I'm not sure about conversion parts availability for this tractor.. I'm going to look at it tomorrow, and it appears to be of the chinese variety, maker unknown at this time.
Comments / observations ?
Is the pto on a cat 0 tractor still the normal 1 3/8?
Thanks
