Is the joystick an electric over hydraulic control or is it a combo of mechanical linkage (cable) and electrical? Depending on the particular joystick function that is not working correctly that's what you need to troubleshoot. Either by inspecting the mechanical linkage or the particular electrical circuit that controls the lost function - curl, boom, grapple or hitch.

Gonna need the technical manual which details the circuits, fuses as well as the hyd spools. That will also detail how to test for correct tolerances (voltages) and what pieces parts that might need to be replaced.
