Here is another shot. This was taken at Urbana Ill. We had a hard day at Work, sat for Five hours as the trains keep rolling by us.

Looking at those D8's, it sure looks like those tracks are WAY undersized for its size and weight. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Narrow tracks are for hard ground/rock apps. Wider pads wear the chains faster under these conditions and the pads can bend/break on rocks.

I saw a D11 parked by the road the other day.....what a monster!
