ours is not so much cocky as standoffish , aloof and dare I say it...snobby. but then the next minute she loses all sense of decorum jumps on your lap and attempts to lick your face

My cat gets upset if you put anything on him. He will lay down and not move. It’s like you put an anchor on him v a harness or a sweater!

Couldn't find one of our cats. He's not allowed in the spare bedroom. (That's where we keep anything we don't want cats to sleep on.) Wife had set some bags on the bed in there earlier. He must have followed her in there.
