I'm glad your cat is mostly ok.

We had one cat who was allergic to his teeth. By the time he reached 10 he'd had nearly all of them pulled. We fed him wet food for meals and left dry food out as snacks. He still managed to eat dry food without molars.

Bill was around $300 and that included some meds for one of the dogs.

When I asked her about doing anything special for Carrot, she said nope, just move on with life. They removed three Canine's and no chewing teeth so don't worry about it.

(Tell the mouse that a canine isn't a chewing tooth as the mouse is held captive in the mouth...)

$300 isn't bad at all. People dentists charge a fortune.
We have new neighbors who bought farm next door, great family and he's a dentist.
When I fenced the property line he wanted to pay half, asking what it would cost. I told him two root canals and a wisdom tooth extraction.
He didn't find that humorous. All is well since they paid for the rest of the fencing so everyone is happy.
