I bought an old Ferguson cultivator not realizing my tractor was a cat2, and the cultivator was a cat1 3 point. I didnt want to hack up an antique, so I came up with this from the scrap pile:
Man, you should have come here first! For about 5 bucks at TSC or any ag supply they have a sleve type adapter to go over the cat 1 pins to size it up to a cat 2, same goes for the top link. But what you've made looks real nice and should work fine.
Rusty has the correct response I believe. The bushings work to size a cat 1 pin dia. to use a quick hitch. Cat 2 arms are a wider stance and a higher top link. Will a cat 2 rear shrink in adjustment to close the difference to a cat 1 implement. Will the cat 2 components adjust to get the proper performance from a cat 1 implement? What you did looks like it will serve its purpose fine. Just thinking ? My 4420 is cat 1, so I have not encountered this issue. Gene
