Ford 4000 3 cyl diesel starts popping after bushoghing for 2 to 3 hours. Air in the lines. Havent found the culprit yet. Ordered a steel hose to replace rubber fuel line. Question, is it possible to bleed the lines while engine is running.

Yes it is possible to bleed with the engine running. Start closest to the fuel tank with the little bolt head on top center of the fuel filter body, crack and bleed and close, then the banjo on the cylinder closest to the tank, crack and bleed and close, ect until you run out of cylinders. Why do you think you get air in the lines?
