Cat sold the challenger line to Agco and pretty much dissolved the arrangement they had with Claas of Europe. Agco gets the track Challenger and great expansion of its dealer network (in effect) and Cat gets a complete line of farming stuff. Cat will still sell the big Challengers too. I'm kinda excited about this, as my local dealer will be carrying the new Agco line. We sorta need some new blood around here to get the established lines shook up a little. For example, When I went to the local fair recently, the JD salesfolk were all sitting in a group while dad and I poked around their display. The Case folk were no where to be found. The Cat folk were very friendly and we talked for 2hours!
