I have 80 acres. The neighbor grazes his cows on about 70 of the acres. A cross property fence excludes about 10 acres for my house, yard and out buildings. His only cost - install and maintain the cross property fence. The entire 80 acres is fenced.
Their grazing reduced the wildfire danger and I'm happy with that.
Wildfires are a MAJOR concern in the fall around here.
