I have a JCB 1400B. I need to know what the lights on the dash indicate. Presently a light that looks like a lighting bolt come on when operating the machine. Is JCB and John Deere the same. I'm new and I need help.

Welcome to TBN!

Is the unit putting out proper charge to the battery when running?

JCB is a separate company from Deere. Whether they build anything for each other I couldn't say. JCB is from the UK.

Info on JCB here...

Welcome!
A lightning bolt is usually a universal sign for a charging problem.

Agree with above posts. If the lightening bolt comes on when operating, charging system fault, as in charging system not charging or not keeping up with electrical demand.

Hi. Welcome. Check for loose battery cables, low water in the battery, loose fan belt or broken wire from the alternator. If you have a load tester test the battery. Could be one or all of the above.
