CC 2042 Oil Drain assembly

Has anyone modified the oil drain plug assembly on their 2042?

I for one don't trust the push/pull and turn gizmo. If the little cap pop's off this could be a problem.

I was thinking of making a plumbing modification when I change the oil the next time = perhaps an elbow to get it past the frame support and put in a real threaded plug.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Nevermind = I just looked down the page and found this is already an open issue.

I just bypass the 'drain' all together & pump the oil out of the dipstick tube. Lemme know if you figure out a way to get the factory plug out of there as is!
